Electronic Data Interchange
To accurately assess a ship's stability in a loading program, it's essential to consider not only the cargo mass distribution but also the mass of fluids in the ballast and utility tanks. Given the large number of tanks on the ship, manually entering their contents into the program can be both labor-intensive and time-consuming.
SimpleStability offers highly effective means of exchanging tank content data with third-party loading software using both standard EDIFACT and custom user-defined formats. This capability enables shore-based planners to instantly replicate the precise distribution of tank loads, facilitating accurate overall stability analysis.
Program Customization
SimpleStability is highly and easily customizable. It allows the user, through the program controls, effortlessly customize the working environment, starting from units of measurement, through functional windows layout, content and appearance of information tables, layout of reports, as well as customize EDI formats to the user’s specific needs and preferences.
Ship Models
Every loading instrument needs a ship mathematical model defining ship’s overall layout, hydrostatics, stability and strength characteristics.
Unlike most other loading instruments, SimpleStability enables users to build their own ship models using the included interactive model editor application.
Additionally, SimpleStability users have unlimited access to an ever-growing online database, where they can download ready-to-use ship models created by other users of the software.
