Autoload for AAL BrisbaneAMT has delivered loading computer software for m/v AAL BRISBANE
Delivery of 4 loading computers
AMT Marine Software Inc. (AMT) has delivered Autoload loading computer on a new build ship m/v “AAL Bangkok”. That successfully fulfills the contractual agreement between AMT and Sekwang Shipbuilding Co. on supply, commissioning and certification of loading computer systems for the group of 4 sister vessels.
The m/v “AAL Bangkok” is the last ship in a series of multi-purpose sister-vessels of 19,000 DWT and 700 MT heavy-lift capability (the "S-Class”) built at Sekwang Shipbuilding Co. for Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd., part of Schoeller Holdings Ltd.
The vessel will join her sisters, m/v “AAL Fremantle”, “AAL Dampier” and “AAL Nanjing”, in Austral Asia Line’s (AAL) West Coast Service catering for break bulk, large-dimensional and heavy-lift project cargoes as well as bulk commodities and containers.
Autoload is the market-leading onboard stability and stowage planning software that in one application integrates graphical cargo planning (containers and general cargo) and advanced stability analysis tools.
The users of Autoload can re-configure positions of tweendeck panels and in 3-dimensional graphical view simulate lifting and precise positioning of oversized and overweight cargo with one or two heavy-lift cranes, while controlling the crane’s outreach, SWL, lifting parameters and in real time monitoring ship’s hydrostatics.
In cooperation with our Korean partners NET Co. Ltd. (www.netjoiner.com) we have delivered a turn-key loading computer system that includes both software and type-approved computer hardware.
The loading computer is electronically linked to PANASIA tank and draft sensors system that allows real-time monitoring of ship’s loading condition and floating status.
Installation of loading computers on board of 4 sister ships have been certified by GL.
All four S-Class ships have been added to the database of ship models in Autoload ship planning system used in the AAL regional offices. Having the same loading software on board the ship and in the operational offices makes the cargo planning process transparent, better coordinated and efficient.
In this project AMT Marine Software has provided full cycle of technical services: custom configuration of Autoload’s functionality for the ships; development of detailed 3D ship models; installation, training and commissioning on board; certification of the loading computer with GL; and is rendering on-going support of Autoload users on board and ashore.
